TeamHealth’s Residency Relations Team was created in 2011 to build relationships with residents and provide information about the company’s opportunities by hosting various types of events with residency programs. These opportunities include the residency stipend and student loan repayment programs, emergency medicine on-boarding program and Special Ops.
The team consists of ten Residency Relations Specialists and one Residency Coordinator that host and setup hundreds of events annually across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. The team also hosts several Residency Leadership Retreats throughout the year for hospital and emergency medicine residents in their final year. The retreat is held just outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee at the RT Lodge in Maryville. The three day retreat brings together residents from all across the country where they will receive lectures from industry leaders, participate in fun activities and build relationships through networking opportunities with their peers.
The team also represents TeamHealth at major medical conferences including ACEP, SAEM, ASA and ACOEP, to name a few.
